At the end of last year, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region celebrated its 90th anniversary. We took part in the organization of that major even. For the whole year, we've been actively working to bring that project to life. Our studio made almost 40 minutes of graphics for 12 musical performances. We tried to engage the audience in the region's history known for its distinctive culture and natural resources.
The combined content made the show spectacular. We used Christie d4k40 RGB projectors to create images. Blacktrax tracking system - for mapping objects and artists that were moving on stage. OmniCal was used for mixing projection equipment and adjusting the OBJ file. Thanks to laser projectors, it was possible to achieve the desired contrast and saturation of the images.
We shot the central characters on a chroma key, and then integrated those materials into the scenes assembled in UnrealEngine. For another performance, we created three animated characters. Creativity, set up, work on the location - everything had to be approached with lots of attention. It was important for us to be engaged in the process till the very end.
