The two institutions have teamed up to reimagine a classic play by Alexander Ostrovsky in a new form and on a different scale. Staged in the Literary Garden of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, the setting will feature multimedia technologies to create a special space where contemporary art is born.
The visual design of the performance revolves around digital art. Together with artist Xenia Raw, the team at dreamlaser have prepared a media installation highlighting the texture and essence of the location as well as the authors’ idea. Projections will be thrown on the clothing of actors and actresses, becoming part of their costumes.
The project premiers on 1, 2, 3 and 4 September at 20:30. Tickets are available via the link.
