On March 2, a new course developed jointly with media artist Sasha Kojjio and art+tech producer Alisa Davydova will launch on our educational platform Kafedra — "Creating and Producing Media Art Installations."
Sasha Kojjio creates installations at the intersection of light, sound, and architectural space. His works are built on software code and generative algorithms using TouchDesigner.
Alisa Davydova is an art+tech producer and creative director. She oversees multimedia projects from concept to launch for private and large-scale events, festivals, and permanent exhibitions around the world.
Their works have been exhibited at leading international venues and festivals, including Art Club (USA), Beyond Basel Miami (USA), Constellation de Metz (France), INTERVALS (Russia), MIRA Festival (Spain), NUR (Russia), OUTLINE (Russia), and others.
In this course, they will explain how to develop a media art installation from the initial idea to its realization in a physical space. This is the first course in Russia that combines work with light, TouchDesigner, and equipment together with the nuances of producing.
To help you dive deeper into the multimedia installation industry, Sasha and Alisa have prepared a free guide about clients and the market → here.
You can find out more details and sign up for the course on the Kafedra website.
