Dreamlaser is once again hosting INTERVALS, Russia’s largest media art festival. Taking place this spring from April 24 to 27, the festival will transform over 15 outdoor and architectural locations across Nizhny Novgorod into vibrant platforms for contemporary media art and multimedia experiences.
We are happy to announce the program of the festival:
April 24 – opening concert;
April 24-27 – citywide media exhibition;
April 26 – night music program;
April 25 and 26 – AV performances;
April 26 and 27 – educational program.
As always, admission to the exhibition and educational program is free. Tickets for other events must be purchased in advance.
This marks the eighth edition of INTERVALS, and we strive to make each festival bigger and more impactful. This year, we are welcoming 20 media artists from 9 countries.
Russian participants include dreamlaser, Sila Sveta, radugadesign, 404.zero, formate, MASAIDOV x ZAKHAROVA x LYM ART, Knife Studio, Slava Saf & Artur Sofin (Black April), as well as winners of the IF Pulse festival open-call.
Among the foreign artists there are Los Romeras (Spain), ruestungsschmie.de (Germany), RE:SORB (Germany), AMIANGELIKA & 1100 (UK), Jérémie Bellot (France), 1024 Architecture (France), Kati Katona (Hungary), Ouchhh (Turkey), Aka Chang (Taiwan), and Akiko Yamashita (Japan).
This year’s exhibition will also feature a multimedia installation and mapping by T-Bank, the festival’s general partner. T2, a leading mobile operator and event partner, will present an interactive zone and mapping installation. Another festival partner, SIBUR, will showcase its own large-scale mapping project.
In 2024, INTERVALS attracted over 350,000 visitors. This year, we anticipate an even larger audience from across Russia and beyond.
