On August 14, Tseh.Space will open OMEGA, an immersive exhibition by French media artist and filmmaker Thomas Vanz, 36 degrés. The project marks the artist's first exhibition in Russia.

Working at the intersection of science, art, and cinema, Vanz transforms simple physical materials — pigments, ink, and chemical reactions — into mesmerizing images of cosmic phenomena. Using macro photography and experimental filming techniques, he captures processes taking place at a microscopic scale and transforms them into visions of nebulae, galaxies, stars, and supernovae explosions.

At the heart of Vanz's practice is an exploration of humanity's place between the infinitely large and the infinitely small — the vastness of the cosmos and the hidden complexity of the microcosm.

OMEGA invites visitors on an immersive journey through the transformations of matter that shape the universe. The project brings together works including EVERYTHING, ALPHA 1/137, LUMINANCE X RESONANCE, and VERSE.

"The exhibition is conceived as a space for focused viewing, almost like a sequence of small cinemas, where each of Thomas Vanz's works unfolds both as an independent film and as part of a larger journey through cosmic states of matter. The artist explores chemical reactions, particle movement, and light, revealing the scale of the universe through microscopic processes. His films shift our familiar perception of scale: we find ourselves inside the images, where the vast emerges from the minute, and infinite space takes shape through the movement of matter captured at close range by the artist's hands," Anna Gagarina, Curator of Exhibition Projects at dreamlaser.
