NON SEMANTIC is an original project by media.tribe, addressing communication with the viewer at the level of emotions and sensations through new technology. Technically assisted by dreamlaser, the exhibition runs until December 10.
The show provides an intense sensory experience that can hardly be put into words, yet it can be felt through audiovisual art.
The exhibition features 4 installations by media.tribe:
ENCAGED is a caged audiovisual installation with a high vertical composition. Artificial limitations affect the way the installation image is formed. The artists intentionally narrow the space for creating an emotional experience of maximum depth inside.
INTERSECTION is an installation speaking the language of red traffic lights that make up the main topic and means of narration. The artists revisit the perception of traffic lights and use non-traditional media art tools, shifting the focus from a utilitarian application to an artistic function.
MIMIC.4 is a reimagined MIMIC installation, which was exhibited in TSEKH* before. The installation comprises four LED screens and four laser projectors combined into a single system. The images exist simultaneously both in space and on the surface of the screens.
semantic failure is an infinite essay composed with AI as an audiovisual work. This installation explores the impossible accuracy of conveying sensations and emotions through logical and linguistic tools.
