On December 19, 2025, a solo exhibition by the TUNDRA collective opened at the TSEH space, bringing together four installations. Works that have toured international festivals and museums across the USA, Europe, Russia, and Asia are presented alongside new installations created specifically for the architecture of TSEH.

The TUNDRA collective explores the interrelation of image, sound, space, and technology, as well as their capacity to generate a cross-sensory experience by engaging the mechanisms of perception. The collective's installations transform the TSEH into a research environment where technology serves as a tool for expanding sensory experience.

The exhibition opens with the installation The Day We Left Field, which attunes the viewer to the exhibition's rhythm of perception and draws a boundary between the external urban environment and the inner space of contemplation. Inspired by natural landscapes and their place within an urban context, the work materializes the lost connection between humanity and wild nature, literally inverting a familiar image to invite a fresh perspective.

Next comes the iconic audiovisual installation ROW, comprised of ten vertically suspended holographic displays. The ROW algorithms translate invisible digital signals into audiovisual forms — rows of data float in the air, transforming into symbols, words, and sentences. The vertical composition and the architectural features of the TSEH space establish a new mode of engagement with the work.

DOT, a monumental installation, is the exhibition's central object. This floating spherical structure acts as a core where light and sound converge, generating new audiovisual associations. The multitude of beams radiating from the sphere alters the perception of the architectural space, converting it into a cohesive, dynamic environment of light.

Completing the route is the installation TUNNEL, plunging the viewer into a realm of synesthetic experience. Here, audiovisual imagery fuses with tactile sensation. The participant concurrently witnesses the image's motion, perceives its sonic form, and physically senses the vibrational feedback from a custom-engineered platform. In this way, sound transcends its purely acoustic nature, and image moves beyond the purely visual.

This is not the first time the TUNDRA collective has presented their work at TSEH space — in 2022, the artists participated in the exhibition "Medium" and the INTERVALS festival.

The project is supported by the technology operator T2, which is presenting its own interactive installation as part of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be on view until February 1, 2026. Details are available on the TSEH website.
