To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, our company has prepared several installations and projection mapping shows as part of the “Light of the Great Victory” event in Volgograd. Dreamlaser’s works will be featured at two locations within the Battle of Stalingrad Museum-Reserve.
The event will traditionally take place on Mamayev Kurgan on May 7 and 8 at 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM, and on May 9 at 9:00 PM, 9:40 PM, and 11:00 PM. In honor of this landmark anniversary, the 3D mapping will illuminate not only the iconic “The Motherland Calls” monument but also other sculptural compositions of the memorial complex.
Projection content will also be displayed on the facade of the Battle of Stalingrad Panorama Museum as part of the Panorama Festival. Residents of Volgograd and visitors to the Hero City will have the opportunity to take a virtual tour through all four of Russia’s active panoramic exhibitions: “Defense of Sevastopol 1854–1855”, “Borodino”, “The Battle of Volochayevka”, and “The Defeat of Nazi Troops at Stalingrad”. These showings will take place on May 7, 8, and 9 at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
The organizers of the campaign "Light of the Great Victory" are the Museum-Preserve "Stalingrad Battle", State Budgetary Institution Cultural Events Agency, Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Center for Cultural Project Implementation "Connection of Times", with support from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the administration of the Volgograd region, and Sber.
