After a record five days, Nizhny Novgorod said goodbye to the international media art festival INTERVALS 2024 (IF'24), which has just re-confirmed its status of Russia's largest event of this kind, gathering more than 350,000 people from all over Russia and abroad.

The Center, Strelka (the Spit), Fair and Shweitsariya Park were the four territorial clusters where visitors immersed in world-class media art. There were a total of 17 locations, including new ones for the festival. The Nizhny Novgorod Stadium was one of such newer spots, hosting dreamlaser's Phase installation inspired by the INTERVALS 2024 slogan 'The Time is Now'.

Dreamlaser showcased five of its works during the festival. Another solo installation, called Portal, was deployed at the Rekord Cultural Center. The façade of the Mayak Academy had two our mappings in cooperation with Tele2 and VK Music, partners of the IF'24. Another mapping, this time in collaboration with En+, was displayed on the façade of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in the Kremlin.

The multimedia setup by dreamlaser could be found throughout the festival's music events — at the opening concert, featuring the folk voice band POLE and electronic musician Howie Lee from China, and at the IF'24 party, boasting a famous line-up of Mekhanicheskiy Pyos [Mechanical Dog] (Dolphin), Nikita Zabelin, Guzz (China), CHERNOBURKV, Howie Lee (China), and Roma Zuckerman. We thank the ZAVOD SHOW company for technical support of the festival events.

It is worth reminding that INTERVALS 2024 featured the leading Russian and foreign artists and media art studios: SILA SVETA, dreamlaser, radugadesign, Generative Gallery, MESHSPLASH, Yaroslav Sotov, hilights.studio, Sasha Koggio & Alisa Davydova, Panterra, Elina Zazulia, mmd's x bhsad, Playmodes Studio (Spain), CLAUDE & Shin Hyejin (South Korea), Jeremie Bellot (France), Ferran Belmon (Spain), Javid Guliyev (Azerbaijan), Ahmet Said Kaplan (Turkey).

Audiovisual performances deserve special attention, as they significantly enriched the festival program and enabled visitors to delve deeper into media art. The performances were given by Lena Poturemets and Ilya SymphoCat (RENAISSANCE_AI), Slava SAF, Artur Sofin and Alexander Vasilenko (Nastroiki Dialoga, Generative Gallery), media.tribe (POINT OF NO RETURN), and Ferran Belmon (CICLIC), Spanish media artist.
