From May 7 to 9, in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the hero city of Volgograd will once again be illuminated by the patriotic event "The Light of the Great Victory."
The creative team of the State Budgetary Cultural Institution "Agency for Cultural and Mass Events," the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Center for the Implementation of Cultural Projects "Connection of Times," and dreamlaser have prepared a new audiovisual work.
For the tenth time, the event will take place at the memorial complex "To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" on Russia's main height — Mamayev Kurgan. This year, the audiovisual performance will be accompanied by the legendary music of Alexandra Nikolaevna Pakhmutova, a composer who is a national treasure of Russia and the USSR! She will personally perform her greatest works on piano at a unique water stage.
